The Edge of the Woods
 
The fox sits in the gap of the drystone wall watching waiting.  Above sits the tawny owl gazing across the night sky. This ceramic artwork was handcarved out of clay and painted using underglaze.  It has a mat finish keeping a natural feel and some have said makes it look like it is carved from wood.  It is mounted on an off cut of fenceing which has been sanded smooth.  A great piece of art for sunny spots like a conservatory and orangery as it won't fade with the sunlight. 
 
The wood is treated so it could also be hung outdoors but I woulld recommend annual treatment for the wood and to bring in during severe frosts.
